[Case Study] Medina Memorial Identifies $100,000 in Additional Revenue in One Year Using Strategic Pricing Tool

Medina Memorial Hospital began using Stroudwater’s Strategic Pricing Tool in 2018 after learning that SHIP grant funds would cover a large portion of the investment. The web-based tool, coupled with expert consultation, allows the hospital to gain control of its pricing methodology while eliminating variability and maximizing pricing integrity. Hospital CEO Mark Cye was eager to implement a method to simplify compliance with CMS pricing transparency rules for CAHs. Since employing the Stroudwater tool, Cye set out to go department by department to track current pricing and determine new prices. He’s a big fan, saying “the tool is great, we love it.”
