Carol Alexander will focus her work at Stroudwater on development and improvement of the hospital-affiliated physician enterprise, providing interim group management, and developing strategies that will better align physicians and hospitals to allow them to achieve their goals. With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, she excels in financial practice development and implementing performance-driven solutions. Carol comes to Stroudwater from Truven Health Analytics, where she worked as a Senior Principal within the Physician Strategies group. She will be based at Stroudwater’s Atlanta office.
Terry Bauer brings to Stroudwater a proven record of increased revenue, profitability, and operational excellence in over three decades in the healthcare industry. He has served in numerous senior executive roles in both public and private corporations, most recently as CEO of Bauer Health, LLC, following a long career as co-founder, president, CEO, and director of Orion HealthCorp. At Stroudwater, Terry will primarily lend his expertise to the Revenue Cycle, Affiliations and Partnerships, and Physician-Hospital Alignment practices, and can be reached at our Atlanta office.
Douglas Johnson joins Stroudwater’s vibrant Affiliations and Partnerships team after serving as Vice President, Acquisitions & Development at Capella Healthcare. Doug has over 20 years of transaction, business development, and financial accounting experience, specifically in the general acute care hospital, rehabilitation hospital, and ambulatory surgery center space. He will lead Stroudwater’s growing presence in Nashville.
Matthew Mendez is a passionate leader who finds great satisfaction in helping others achieve extraordinary results. With over 17 years of executive and consulting experience, Matt has worked in a variety of settings, ranging from an academic medical center to a small community hospital within an integrated delivery system. Before joining Stroudwater, Matt consulted within the North Carolina Hospital Association, PricewaterhouseCoopers’ healthcare practice, and on an independent basis.
