A senior marketing and communications executive, Kimberly McCall joined Stroudwater in 2016 and brings to the team deep experience in healthcare marketing and branding, public relations, and communications strategy.
Previously, Kimberly served in healthcare senior leadership positions with Anthem, MaineHealth, and Sweetser (a Maine statewide behavioral health agency). For a dozen years, she managed her own marketing and public relations agency, McCallMedia and Marketing, Inc., providing comprehensive marketing, media and public relations consulting to Merrill Lynch, the Finance Authority of Maine, CEG Worldwide, and myriad financial institutions and wealth advisors nationwide.
At Stroudwater, she counsels healthcare clients in all areas of internal and external messaging, with an emphasis on clients in the midst of a transition. She has assisted hospitals create public relations strategies in times of crisis, during M & A discussions and amidst leadership changes. She believes that advocacy directed toward physician, board and staff audiences is just as critical as media relations.
Kimberly’s crisis communications experience includes creating internal and external plans for Merrill Lynch, Anthem, MaineHealth, and Sweetser. In addition to more than 25 years in marketing and public relations, Kimberly brings a cool and calm demeanor to the most intense public relations challenges.
An accomplished writer, she has contributed to publications including Inc., Entrepreneur, the Wall Street Journal, Mainebiz and the Portland Press Herald.
McCall earned her communication degree at the University of Southern Maine and has continued her education through executive education courses at Harvard and Columbia Universities.
