The three-part seminar will be for clinical managers and provider practice managers at critical access hospitals.  The topics covered will include 1) training for clinic staff new to management responsibilities, 2) setting up schedule templates, and 3) data-driven decision-making based on metric monitoring and key performance indicator reports.

Session 1: Expectations for new practice leadership – Outlines industry standard and “better performer” expectations for practice performance across finances, revenue cycle, access, operations, and quality; this will include handling new responsibilities such as the management of former peers.

Session 2: Scheduling 101 – how to optimize schedule templates, how to handle no-shows, cancellations, and waitlists, and how to improve your overall patient throughput.

Session 3: Management decision making – Educates practice leaders on frameworks to support decision-making, how to set yourself up for engaging with data, and how to work with both practice staff and hospital leadership regarding the data you track.
