Nashville is an important location for Stroudwater because of the depth of healthcare talent, technology and resources that reside here. We want to continue to grow our firm by adding exceptional talent and providing unique solutions to our valued clients, comments Rob Kirsch, Managing Director. Doug Johnson adds, Establishing a Nashville office will enable us to more efficiently maintain existing client relationships in the area and also take advantage of several service line opportunities that we are developing with other Nashville organizations.
With the rollout of the ACA and the industry’s transition away from volume-based reimbursement and toward population health, Stroudwater has seen increased need for its services as health systems consolidate and hospitals struggle to do more with less. The move to Nashville supports Stroudwater’s vision to build capacity to improve, through partnership with clients, the health of 40 million people annually.
Douglas Johnson and Opal Greenway will anchor the Nashville office. Doug joined Stroudwater in 2014 with over 20 years of transaction, business development, and financial accounting experience, specifically in the general acute care hospital, rehabilitation hospital, and ambulatory surgery center space. Opal is an expert in valuations, mergers and acquisitions, strategy, physician compensation, and regulatory compliance.
