Amy Graham

Stroudwater Consultant

Why Stroudwater?

Stroudwater wants to help the small rural U.S. hospitals provide excellent healthcare to their communities. With every engagement, they seek to leave their clients in a better position than they were prior. This is how I personally like to work and a legacy that I want to be part of.

How did you end up here?

Another Principal, Opal Greenway, and I are both members of the same networking group in Nashville. During one of the meetings she expressed to several members that Stroudwater was looking for Revenue Cycle talent. Those ladies knew that I was seeking new opportunities and quickly connected the two of us with each other.

Hillary Zipper

Director of Communications

Why Stroudwater?

I’m proud to work at Stroudwater because our work is truly about serving our clients and their communities. Our success comes from their success, and that means a lot to me. I also feel like a valued teammate who is always treated fairly and with respect, and I really enjoy working with my colleagues.

How did you end up here?

I joined Stroudwater after moving back to Maine from Brooklyn to be closer to my family. I found the position online and was excited that I could combine my proofreading and editing skills with my experience from a previous job at a healthcare company.

John Downes

Principal and Board of Directors

Why Stroudwater?

I enjoy helping clients evaluate data to make better decisions about meeting healthcare needs in their communities. Working at Stroudwater gives me tremendous independence, the ability to constantly tinker and improve service offerings, and lets me make a real difference for small community hospitals throughout the country.

How did you end up here?

I was a partner at a Boston architectural / engineering firm and worked on several projects with two of the founders, Marc Voyvodich and Larry Pixley. When Larry decided to retire, he reached out and asked if I would consider joining the team. This was 11 years ago and the rest is history!

Clare Kelley

Stroudwater Consultant

Why Stroudwater?

Stroudwater, as a boutique firm, allowed me as a young professional to be hands on with the material and interact with prominent individuals in the healthcare industry one on one. I value the emphasis placed on mentorship and professional growth established here, and the firm’s deep commitment to not only its employees, but clients and patients they serve.

How did you end up here?

While getting my Masters in Public Health at Dartmouth College I came across Stroudwater and proceeded to get in touch with some of the Directors at the time. I became intrigued by the type of work being done at Stroudwater and the overall culture and collegiality surrounding the firm. I am very happy with my decision to come work for such a caring organization and one that is deeply passionate and committed to improving healthcare in this country.
