To further its commitment to accelerating growth for Rural & Community Healthcare, Stroudwater welcomes Melissa Schmitt
Stroudwater Associates, the nation’s leading source for strategic, operational, financial, and clinical strategy for Rural & Community Healthcare, announces the expansion of its provider strategy and operations team with the addition of Melissa Schmitt.
Schmitt joins as the newest consultant serving clients in clinician engagement and productivity, physician practice improvement, ambulatory strategy and development, and telemedicine.
Schmitt strengthens the Stroudwater team with over ten years of healthcare experience and proven knowledge of start-ups, telehealth, provider engagement, product development, and specialty and surgical practice management. Schmitt brings a strong record of accomplishment in practice and operations management to her work with Stroudwater clients.

Before joining Stroudwater Associates, Schmitt served as Senior Practice Manager for Vault Health, where she managed nationwide provider networks and compliance for 1000+ clinicians and staff, developed corresponding practice improvement plans, and implemented process changes to improve care for patients and achieve operational excellence with clinician partners. Previously, she managed rural specialty practices, leading provider recruitment and clinic operations.
